Ayodhya city is one of pilgrims centers of the Uttar Pradesh State  of India because   it is birthplace of Lord Ram and the capital of the kosala kingdom. Ayodhya  has an average of elevation of approximately 93metres (305feet) above sea level .  The Ayodhya city is situated on the banks of the Saryu River, which flows to the north side. The landscape & soil in this region are flat and alluvial soil .Ayodhya district  formerly  known as Faizabad. Now Ayodhya  is the administrative headquarter  of  Ayodhya  district  as well as the Ayodhya  division of  Uttar Pradesh. Ayodhya  feature   a humid  subtropical climate  with  three  distinct  season. Three  distinct   seasons are Hot summers ,heavy monsoon  rains and cools  pleasant winters. The average maximum temperature is 32⁰ C to 40 ⁰C and the average minimum  temperature is 10⁰ C to 27 ⁰C  .The Ayodhya’s average annual rainfall around 1067 mm. Historically significant, it has been  a focal point of intense religious and legal disputes over a 16^th century mosque ,culminating  in a 2019  supreme court  verdict that   allowed for   the  construction  of the Ram Mandir. Rishikesh is the Yoga capital of the world since1999.The city offers a mixure of the spirituality and adventure sports along the rivers Ganges .It also hosted the International Yoga Festival annually .Rishikesh is the starting point for travelling Char Dham pilgrimage centers  and is also a starting point for Himalayan  tourist destination.
