Shridi is famous for spiritual leader Sai Baba and his Samadhi  Mandir .It is a small rural town renowed as a major pilgrimage site and the former home of Shri Sai Baba .This small town has became a holy place for  Sai Baba’s devotees after Shri Sai Baba taken Samadhi here. This place has became more popular among the domestic tourists as well as devotees and it  is also gaining slow interest among the International tourists to enjoy the holy place.Shridi is located in the  Ahmednagar district   of the Indian state of Maharashtra ,in Western India.Shirdi lies between 19.7645 ⁰N latitude and  74. 4762 ⁰E longitude .Shirdi is situated 504 m above the sea level. Shridi has a  tropical wet and dry climate . Shirdi’s climate is broadly tropical which experiencing hot summer ,a distinct monsoon season with rainfall and a pleasant winter. Shirdi’s average maximum temperature is  32 ⁰ C to 42 ⁰ C(90⁰  - 108 ⁰ ) and average minimum temperature 10 ⁰ C to 14 ⁰ C. Average rainfall is 480 m .Shirdi  history is centered on Shri Sai Baba. Shri Sai Baba arrived in the village in the mid -19^th century .He lived there for about 60 years until his Maha Samadhi  took place in 1918.His teaching make him spiritual guru among Hindus and Muslims before his death .After his Samadhi in Dwarkamai  Mandir (temple) ,Shirdi became a major pilgrimage site ,attracting devotees globally to his holy shrine. 3.    Senior Citizens  must bring their  Aadhaar Card with them to show it at the entry   point.

4.    Shri Baba Mandir to khandoba Mandir  is 500.0m

5.    Shri Baba Mandir to Dakshin Mukhi Hanuman Mandir is 450.0 m.

6.   Due  to paucity of land area of Shri Baba Samadhi Mandir , Shri Sai Prasadayla has been constructed approximately at a distanceof 1.0 km from Main Mandir. Where devotees or tourists could take their lunch.

7.  Shri Sai Prasadayla Tickets are available at ticket counter on the ground floor (Currently 50 Rs per person is charged for this halls including lunch).

The Ajanta Caves are a group of 30 rock – cut  Buddhist  cave monuments and comes under  UNESCO World Heritage. The Ajanta  Caves are considered to be a master piece of Buddhist religious art. The Ajanta caves provide valuable insight into the art ,architecture ,social and religious  informations which were the part of ancient  History and early medieval India . The main purpose of the caves were  to influence and spread the Buddhism world wise. The caves paintings and sculptures have  made it more popular and famous  among the Domestic tourist as well as International tourist in the tourism world.The Ajanta Caves lies between 75⁰ 40’ N latitude and  20⁰ 30’ E longitude.The Ajanta Caves are located on an elevated site approximately 2,240 feet (683 metres) above the sea level.The caves name is named after Ajanta Village which is 12 km from the caves.The climate at the Ajanta Caves is typical of a semi –arid region .There are three  distinct  seasons  are  found here viz winter ,summer and monsoons. In the monsoon season brings moderate to heavy rainfall. The average maximum temperature 40⁰ C and average minimum temperature 30⁰  C to 12 ⁰C.And average rainfall 150mm.

There are thirty caves  in Ajanta ,some of them unfinished and negligible. Sixteen contain mural painting .But the best  work  is to be found in caves1,2,16,17 and 19.The best  sculpture  are  found  in caves 1,4,17,19 ,24  and 26.In these caves life of Gautam Buddha and Buddhism  have been depicted. The transport  available  in Ajanta Caves areas are : Electric Buses ,Auto Rickshaws , Private Cars ,Taxis ,MSRTC Tourist  Buses and Train.The Ajanta Caves to Aurangabad Railway Station(Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar)  is 100 to 150 km and  Ajanta Caves to Aurangabad Airport (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar)  is 97  to 102 km.Entry : Ticketed .Best time visit the Ajanta Caves during the winter months from  October to February . Domestic tourists as well as International tourists have lack of information about distance between  the  Ajanta  Caves  and     Ellora   Caves , so  generally people missed  to see one of the caves

due this major technical ignorance and pacuity of time. The distance between the Ajanta Caves and the Ellora Caves is approximately 100 kilometers (about 62 miles) by road. The travel time by car is typically around 2.5 to 3 hours, but this can vary depending on road conditions and traffic.
