Aurangabad is famous for city of Gates . It is also called tourist hub .
Ellora Caves and Ajanta Caves are the
major attraction of the city. Bibi Ka Maqbara and Panchakki are known
UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Aurangabad is amazing to explore its rich and heritage culture
and traditional custom of the local population of that place . It lies between latitude 19.87 062 N and 75.34 033 E longitude with 139 km2
total area.The altitude of Aurangabad is 568 m
above the sea level .The Aurangabad climate come under koppen climate classification with a low relative
humidity and diverse climate condition .Here weather condition is
not extreme. The average maximum temperature is
40 0 C and average minimum temperature 24 0 C. In the monsoon season rain
pour about 710mm of rain at Aurangabad. Earlier date the name of Aurangabad
was khadki , used to come under the Mauryan Emperors , so that why we found
Buddhist caves,Hindu temples and caves at this place. Aurangabad also become
the capital of Tughlaq king , Mohammed Bin Tughlaq who was the then Sultanate Of
Delhi . He transferred the capital from Delhi to Aurangabad. But it was not a successful
attempt because it was uncompairable with the planned capital city of Delhi. The name Khadki changed after Mughal
Emperor Aurangazeb took the position of the kingdom. He made Bibi ka Maqbara
Tomb at Aurangabad similar like Taj Mahal of Agra . It was headquarters of
Nizams (Dynasty ) but it start to decline when capital move from Aurangabad to
Hyderbad.In 1948 , Aurangabad was
included in Hyderabad State in newly independent India. It later became
part of Bombay state (1956-60 ) before that state was divided into Maharashtra
and Gujarat . After the division of the Bombay state Aurangabad became the part of Maharashtra.Types of tourist
