Munnar  height is from 1,450 meters to 2,695 meters above the sea level .Munnar climate is subtropical highland .The average maximum temperature is 25⁰C (77 ⁰F) and average minimum temperature is 15 ⁰C (59⁰F) .Munnar average rainfall is approximately 2672mm (105.2mm).The Manner’s early inhabitants of the region are memmbers of the Muthuvan tribal community .It was remained a wild and unexplored landsacape hill the later half of 19^th century.British Resident  John Daniel Munro discover and settle down here because of natural beauty of the region .Munnar  came under British government till post independent .After the Indian Independent it become part of India.
