 Ranthambore National Park is considered to be the largest national park in the state of Rajasthan. The park is named after the historic Ranthambore Fort which lies within the park. Ranthambore National Park is converted as the wildlife sanctuary in the Tiger year 1951. Also Ranthambore National Park was declared as one of the “ Project Tiger Reserves “, during the 1973.  The sanctury attract largest number of domestic tourists,  wildlife lovers ,local people as well as International tourists to see special Tigers and the reserves forest.National Park is bounded to the north by the Banas River and to the south by the Chambal River.Ranthambore National Park lies between 25.9776⁰ N latitude and 76.5533⁰ E longitude .Ranthambore National Park is exist between 215 to 505 meters above sea level. The area of the  Ranthambore National Park  is 1,334 km² (515 sqmi).The Ranthambore National Park  is having the sub –tropical dry climate with mainly three seasons all-round the year. Three  seasons are  summer ,winter and monsoon. The Ranthambore National Park’s maximum temperature is 45⁰C and minimum temperature 11⁰C.The annual rainfall in Ranthambore National  Park  is  800 millimeters (31.5 inch).

                                    

Ranthambore Fort was built in the 10^th century at 210 m (700 ft) above the surrounding plain and made by Chauhan rulers.Fort was made inside of  the Ranthambore National Park .Inside the Fort  there are three red stone temples devoted to Lord Ganesh , Lord  Ramlalaji and Lord Shiva. There is  Digamber Jain Temple of Sumatinatha and Sambhavanath,the temples were constructed in the 12^th and 13^th centuries.Padam Talao is the largest of the many lakes in the park.A red sandstone Jogi Mahal is at the edge of the lake. Type  languages available in Ranthambore  National Park  are : English ,Hindi ,Rajasthani and Marwari .Type of Arts and Crafts  available in Ranthambore National Park are : Relics ,Village Women Craft , Puppets ,Traditional Paintings ,Silver Jewellery, Batik Fabrics and Bandhani.
