Vaishno Devi usually refers to the famous Mata Vaishno Devi Temple,one of most important Hindu pilgrimage  sites in state of Jammu and kashmir  of India.The temple is dedicated to Mata Vaishno Devi considered a manifestation of Mahakali ,Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati ,and is also regarded as one of the Shakti Peethas .Inside the holy cave ,devotees receive the scared vision of Mata Vaishno Devi in the form of three natural rock formations known as Pinids. Many devotees believe that only those called by the Goddess are able to complete the yatra ,which adds strong emotional and spiritual value to the pilgrimage .Popularity and signification of Vaishno Devi is among the most visited religious sites in India ,attracting several million devotees ,domestic tourists and international tourists every year. Vaishno Devi is  situated  between  33.0308⁰ N  latitude and 74.9490⁰ E longitude and elevation of 5,200 feet  above sea level. The shrine is located on Trikuta Parvat ,approximately  2.5 km from the Bhairav Mandir. Inside the holy cave, devotees  receive the scared vision of  Mata Vaishno Devi.katra is roughly 60-65 km from Jammu city ,which is the main rail and air gateway for most pilgrims. The pilgrimage yatra generally starts from katra with a trek of about 12-13 km up to the Bhawam (main shrine ). Vaishno Devi  remains in summer months. In  winter, mercury drops  down to sub –zero levels and the region remains covered  in thick  layers of snow. Vaishno Devi ‘smaximum temperature is 30-35⁰ and minimum temperature - 5⁰ C to 5⁰C.The annual rainfall in Vaishno Devi  is  1,566 mm. Vaishno   Devi  lived here from long  time.Devi met Rama (whom consider as Vishnu’s form) Rama told  to  her  pray

in these hills.I will come later .So she made the hill  her  home and helped people there . During her time ,a bad named Bhairan  chased  her.She  ran through   rivers and caves He said sorry  to  Devi , so  very  little  pilgrims  him  too . Now  Vasihno  is  worship  at  the  famous  in   the Trikuta  mountains  near  katra  in  Jammu  and
