The Kashmir Valley  has  an average elevation of  1,850  meters ( 6,070 ft ) above sea level ,but the surrounding Pir Panjal range has an average elevation of 10,000 feet (3,000m).The  valley is 100km (62 mi) wide and covers 15,520.3 km (5,992 sq mi) in area.It is bounded by sub –ranges of the western Himalayas,the great Himalayas  bound it in the  northeast and separate it from the Tibetan plateau ,whereas the Pir Panjal Range in the lesser Himalayas  bounds it on the west and the south ,and separates  it from the Punjab Plain.The Jhelum river is the major river which acts a drainage for whole Kashmir valley.The Kashmir valley features a modified continental Mediterranean climate that is significantly cooler than the tropical plains  of mainland surrounded  by  high mountain walls ,it experiences cold ,snowy winters ,mild ,pleasant summers. Kashmir valley ‘s  average maximum temperature 0 ⁰ C to 32 ⁰ C and average minimum  temperature  is -15  ⁰ C to 16 ⁰ C. The average  annual  rainfall  is  619mm in Kashmir valley. The history of the Kashmir valley was transitioning from a premier global center of classical Hindu and Buddhist philosophy into a wealthy medieval Islamic Sultanate, a royal Mughal summer  retreat and  converted into  modern princely state. After  Independence Kashmir valley become part  of India  and  some  places of Kashmir Valley become part of  Pakistan after the partition

Ayodhya city is one of pilgrims centers of the Uttar Pradesh State  of India because   it is birthplace of Lord Ram and the capital of the kosala kingdom. The city become popular and famous pilgrims spot , for  the domestic and international tourists. So it become the top tourists  destination  of  Uttar Pradesh.  Ayodhya is located at 26⁰48’ N  latitude and  8 20 ⁰14’ E longitude. Ayodhya  has an average of elevation of approximately 93metres (305feet) above sea level .  The Ayodhya city is situated on the banks of the Saryu River, which flows to the north side. The landscape & soil in this region are flat and alluvial soil .Ayodhya district  formerly  known as Faizabad. Now Ayodhya  is the administrative headquarter  of  Ayodhya  district  as well as the Ayodhya  division of  Uttar Pradesh. Ayodhya  feature   a humid  subtropical climate  with  three  distinct  season. Three  distinct   seasons are Hot summers ,heavy monsoon  rains and cools  pleasant winters.
