Dharamsala is a town  of Himachal Pradesh of India .The town is located in the kangra valley in the shadow of the Dhauladhar range of the Himalayas at an altitude of 1,457 metres (4,780 ft). Dharamshala lies between 32⁰ 138.5584 ⁰N  latitude and 76⁰ 19’24 .2472⁰ E longitude. It is one of the famous hill station of India. Dharamshala has a humid, monsoon  influence and subtropical climate. The Dharamsala average  maximum temperature is 16.2 ⁰ C and  average  minimum  temperature is 9 ⁰ C,The aveage rainfall in Dharamshala is 1401mm (55.2 inch). Dharamshala is known from the period of Rig Veda and Mahabharata. In ancient  time this place was control by many kings, Empire , Mughal. After death of Chand ,it came under  control of Sikh Empire Ranjit Singh. Ather  that  this region was  occupied  by Brtish Raj . British period it become  a small hill station. After Indian Independence , Dharamshala become part of India.It was still remain a small hill station after Independence . But after the arrival of Dalai Lama   

from Tibet  and settle at Dharamshala on April 1959 ,this small hill station became famous world wide. Type of Religion  available in Dharamshala are : Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism and other . Type of  language  available in Dharamshala are :   Hindi ,Gaddi ,kangri ,English,Nepali,Pahari ,Lhasa Tibetan.
