Bangalore name is changed as Bengaluru. It’s  original name was Bengavl-uru which  means that city of guards.  Another two  nicknames of Bangalore city  are Garden City and  Pensioner’s Paradise . Gowda of Vijaynagar Emperor .After ruled by Vijaynagar emperor it came under BijapurSultan Adil Shahi. After Shivaji brother’s Venkoji/Ekoji Bhonsale lose war against Mughals ,he sold Bangalore to Woe Dey Ar King Chikka Devaraja Wodeyar  in 1689 for three lakh . King Krishnaraja Wadiyar given Bangalore to Hyder Ali in 1759.And Hyder Ali declared ruler of the kingdom.After his death his son Tipu Sultan got control of Bengaluru . Then it came under the British Rule in 1809 .After that it came under the government of India  as a state.
